Description
Nipel for drip watering does not require any additional gaskets or glues. It is enough to maintain a sufficiently low water pressure (recommended 20 to 30 cm of water column) so that the nipel does not leak. There will be a small drop of water at the tip and only pressing the stem will trigger the flow of water. Birds quickly and without problems acquire the habit of such a way of drinking.
The drinker should be mounted on a square pipe in which threaded holes with a diameter of 1/8 inch (approx. 9mm) are made. To make them, you can use filtered tap for holes for droplet drinkers.
One standard nipl drinker is able to handle from 10 to 12 birds.
The droplet drinker has a water flow norm of approx. 80-90cm3/min.
Detailed data on the amount of water flow depending on the pressure and the degree of pressing of the stem are presented in diagram no.3.
