Sandezia is a professional dry disinfectant developed for the hygiene and biosecurity of livestock buildings and animal housing, including chicken coops, cattle barns, pig houses, pigeon lofts, rabbit hutches, stables and other agricultural facilities. Its natural mineral formula effectively controls bacteria, viruses, fungi and fly larvae, absorbs excess moisture and helps reduce harmful gases. Safe for both animals and people when used as directed, Sandezia is an ideal solution for professional farms and commercial livestock operations.

How Does Sandezia Dry Disinfectant Work?

Sandezia owes its high effectiveness to carefully selected natural minerals, which bind moisture from the air and bedding, creating a dry, hygienic environment that limits the development of harmful microorganisms. The product helps keep bedding dry while improving overall hygiene inside livestock buildings.

Enriched with eucalyptus essential oil, Sandezia also helps improve the stable microclimate by reducing ammonia emissions, improving air quality and helping eliminate unpleasant odours.

How to Use Sandezia Dry Disinfectant

• Initial disinfection: Apply 50 g/m² daily for the first 3 days.
• Before bedding is added: Apply 50–100 g/m², depending on bedding thickness.
• Routine maintenance: Apply 50 g/m² once per week.
• During periods of increased disease risk: Apply 50 g/m² two to three times per week.
• Animal dust baths: Sprinkle directly so the powder comes into contact with the animal's skin.
• Liquid suspension: Mix 1 kg of product with 1.5 litres of water for application to walls, ceilings and hard-to-reach areas. One mixture covers approximately 15 m².

Sandezia Dry Disinfectant can be applied manually while wearing protective gloves or with a powder dispenser (available separately).

Can Sandezia Be Used Around Animals?

Yes. Thanks to its natural mineral composition, Sandezia is safe for use in the presence of animals. It can also be used as a dust bath to support hygiene and improve the overall health and welfare of poultry and other livestock.
