In accordance with EU requirements, such mats should be fitted to every livestock farm, in order to protect herds from the introduction and spread of foreign bacteria and germs. These mats are also used by veterinary services to disinfect people and vehicles crossing quarantined or epidemiological hazard zones.
The mat is designed primarily for decontamination of people and animals as well as light farm vehicles such as medium tractors, trailers or trolleys.

The disinfecting farm mat is made of two absorbent layers. The first level is polyester foam, which is responsible for the absorption of contamination agent and its release under pressure by passing people, animals or passing vehicles. The second layer is made of durable, rigid non-woven fabric resistant to abrasion and resistant to damage, which protects the soft foam from destruction. The mat should be laid so that the non-woven layer is on top and protects the delicate foam from dirt, abrasion and other mechanical damage.
This type of sanitizing sponge is equipped with a thicker layer of absorbing foam. Thanks to this, the mat is able to take more bacteriological agent and with greater effectiveness can disinfect people or vehicles crossing it.

The disinfecting mat for farms can be used both indoors and outdoors. It should be placed wherever there are entrances, entrances or other communication passages, thanks to which we will be sure that everyone will be properly cleaned of bacteria and germs that could endanger the health of animals.
