Transiver disinfection mat in a cover placed in front of the entrance to the livestock premises.

The disinfection mat consists of an absorbent insert made of polyurethane foam and a convenient to use cover. Such a construction of the mat does not require the use of additional protection in the form of foil primers, locks or swimming pools.

The bottom layer of the cover is made of waterproof material that prevents the disinfectant from leaking. The upper part, in turn, is a synthetic material with a special weave, thanks to which the mat is characterized by high efficiency and durability.
The pig mat has a convenient zipper, which in the event of wear of the absorbent insert allows for quick and trouble-free replacement with a new foam.

Placing a disinfection mat in front of the entrance effectively protects pig houses, chicken coops, barns or other livestock buildings against the introduction of bacteria, viruses, germs by people entering from the outside. Every animal production is exposed to dangerous diseases, i.e. African swine fever or bird flu, and the use of the above mats soaked in an appropriate disinfectant, e.g. Virkon S, Rapicid protects against their ingress.

The use of a disinfectant mat is one of the principles of biosecurity in connection with the occurrence of African swine fever. Its use is the responsibility of every pig farmer.
