Passage disinfection mat in a cover 400 x 120 x 5 cm

Sinfestation mat dedicated to heavy vehicular traffic. Due to its size, it allows you to decontaminate the wheels of large vehicles, i.e. trucks, tractors, vans that enter the farm. Passing mats are placed m.in in the entrances to the farm, as well as at the borders of quarantine zones.

The use of an entry mat makes it possible to disinfect the surface of the wheels of cars. The length of 400 cm allows for the complete rotation of the wheel on a mat soaked in disinfectant, e.g. virkon. The passage of cars through the disinfecting mat prevents dangerous diseases and viruses from entering the farm, e.g. ASF, and its possession is one of the basic principles of biosecurity.

The disinfection mat consists of two parts: cover and absorbent insert. The bottom part of the cover is made of waterproof material, thanks to which the disinfectant does not get outside. The top, in turn, is a synthetic material with a special weave. The absorbent insert is made of polyurethane foam. In case of wear, the inside of the mat can be easily replaced, and this action is greatly facilitated by the instant zipper.

Rules for the use of passing mats:
- the maximum speed of the vehicle should be 5 km / h,
- a ban on stopping the vehicle on the mat and starting from it,
- the passage of the vehicle on straight wheels,
- at temperatures within 0 degrees Celsius and minus temperatures, a 10 % glycol solution should be added to the disinfectant solution,
- at -10 ° Celsius and below the mats should be hidden.
