Description

A shoe disinfection mat dedicated to be placed in front of the entrance to a livestock building, e.g. a pigsty, chicken coop, barn. Having disinfecting mats protects against the ingress of dangerous diseases, i.e. ASF, into the pigsty.

Due to its dimensions of 100x80 cm, the mat meets the requirements of biosecurity:

the length of the mat should be at least 1m,
the width of the mat shall correspond at least to the width of the entrance.

The mat is made of the highest quality materials that ensure its long-term functionality. It consists of two parts: a cover and absorbent foam.

The bottom part of the cover is made of waterproof material, thanks to which the disinfectant e.g. Virkon does not leak outside. Therefore, there is no need to create additional basins or disinfecting pools. The top of the cover is a material with a special structure, which under pressure releases a disinfectant.

The mat insert is an absorbent polyurethane foam, which in case of wear can be quickly and easily replaced thanks to the zipper.
