Mechanical methods of fighting insects

The mechanical fight against insects in a livestock building includes the use of blatant lamps. Insecticidal lamps in their construction have a special fluorescent lamp that emits special ultraviolet light, effectively luring insects to the heated mesh, which causes their immediate death. Insecticidal lamps should preferably be at a height of 2-3 meters, preferably at the entrances to the object. The sticky curtain remains effective for up to 12 months. Fly sticks should be hung in the entrances, where insects get inside the building. It is worth protecting yourself from flies and other flying insects also outside the building in order to catch the first pests from entering the facility. The Redtop trap encourages insects with a decoy, based on natural ingredients, to get inside the ambush. The trap should be located in a well-sunlit place, at a height of 1.5 meters from the ground. The large Redtop trap allows you to catch up to 22,000 insects.

Chemical ways to remove insects from the building

The chemical fight against insects involves the use of insecticidal preparations inside buildings. Disinfestation agents are usually in the form of powder or liquid to be diluted with water, but ready-made sprays, sprays and insecticidal candles are also available. The prepared solution should be sprayed or painted on walls, floors, doors, windows, frames. The solution should be prepared in proportions as recommended on the package. Preparations in the form of powder - can be scattered on the surface of the building and on trays, in places of accumulation of insects. Insecticidal preparations in their composition have a strong active substance, i.e. cypermethrin, imidacloprid, thiamethoxan, tetramycin or dectamethrin. The active substance causes a biocidal effect in a short time, causing the death of an insect after a single contact. In addition to the active substance, an important component is attractant , which effectively attracts insects. Insects are very easily resistant to a given active substance, so it is important to use the preparations alternately. You can also use a preparation that has two active substances in its composition - Penta Forte (Imidaklopryd + Cypermetryna), or even three active substances - Draker.

Disinsection by smoke

Extremely effective is the process of smoke of the rooms, using smoke candle Dobol. After contact of Cifenotrin with water, a chemical reaction occurs, during which a mist is released, which reaches all holes and nooks and crannies, effectively eliminating insects nested in them. It is important that during the smoke process there are no animals and people in the room. In order to obtain the highest efficiency of disinsection in livestock buildings, it is best to use two methods - chemical and mechanical, i.e. blatant lamps and spraying.
