Description
Universal bowl drinker designed for watering piglets. The drinker was made of powder-coated cast iron. The drinker for young weaners is optimally matched to the size and dimensions of the pigs - the width of the drinker bowl is 10cm. The drinker is attached to the wall using brackets located in a spacing of 12cm.
A drinker gives animals access to fresh and clean water whenever they need it. Thanks to this, fattening pigs is more balanced, animals themselves take water whenever they are thirsty, e.g. in a period of severe heat.
Water for the drinker for weaners is supplied using a special ZP1 valve with 1/2 inch thread. It is screwed from the bottom into the drinker bowl. To drink, the piglet must press on the movable nipl mandrel for watering pigs, which will trigger the flow of water. Excess water will not be wasted or spilled over the litter, but will be accumulated in a bowl of drinkers for young pigs.
Animals quickly and intuitively learn this way of taking water.
The watering bowl for weaners should be connected to a system with a water pressure in the range of 0.04 to 0.5MPa. Then the optimal efficiency of the drinker is obtained, which is 2-6l of water per minute.
The set includes a nipple drinker for piglets type ZP1 made of brass with a 1/2 inch thread.
