The bromadiolone in Murin FORTE has a delayed mode of action. Once consumed, it blocks the production of vitamin K, preventing normal blood clotting and leading to fatal internal haemorrhaging. Poison also has a dehydrating (mummifying) effect, helping to reduce unpleasant odours after rodent death.

Because rodents do not die immediately, they do not associate the bait with danger. This delayed action allows multiple rodents within the colony to consume the bait, making Murin FORTE an effective solution for large-scale rodent infestations.

How Long Does It Take to Work?

Rodents usually require only a single feed for the bait to be effective. Visible results typically occur within 3–6 days after consumption, depending on the rodent species and body size.
