The Octagon 40 Eco incubator is made of high quality ABS plastic with a transparent lid. The device is easy to clean, durable and extremely economical.

As with any incubator in the Brinsea Octagon series, it has a double layer of plastic in the base, which is additionally lined with polyurethane foam. This solution facilitates the distribution of temperature inside the incubator and prevents excessive consumption of electricity.

The Octagon 40 Eco incubator has a thermometer built into the lid, which indicates the current incubation temperature. This ensures that the egg incubation process is under constant control and ensures that the temperature is right.

Nesting apparatus sold complete with a motor, i.e. an attachment for automatic rotation of eggs. Thanks to him, the incubator rotates by ^{90 o} every hour. Special spacers protect against moving and damaging eggs - we decide about the intervals between them ourselves and we can adjust them to the size of the eggs we put on.

Inside the incubator there is a high-class airflow forcing system. The built-in fan in combination with a series of diffusers ensures optimal air circulation in the egg chamber. We influence the level of air humidity in the incubator by dosing the right amount of water. We collect water in two tanks located in the base of the incubator, from where it is evaporated by convection.
