The whole incubator iBator Home 60 consists of two elements: the bottom and top covers. An electric motor with a fan has been built into the top cover, whose task is to maintain a constant temperature inside the nesting apparatus. In addition, electrical circuits are placed around the top cover that control the temperature inside. Temperature is important in the hatching process - too high/low causes damage to the developing embryo. Thanks to the holes in the housing, it is possible to circulate air inside the incubator and a constant supply of fresh air.
In the bottom cover there are partitions for eggs and water tanks. In order to ensure the right level of humidity, we pour the right amount of water into the tanks. During incubation, the eggs should be rotated (three times a day) to maintain the same temperature and humidity on their entire surface. The eggs in the iBator Home 60 incubator are turned by hand. However, it is possible to buy a special tray for semi-automatic egg rotation. Then, the eggs are tilted using a key located on the outside of the bottom case. Three days before the end of the hatching process, the eggs should not be turned over, as the chicks may already hatch.
The incubator iBator Home 60 is best placed on the table, away from sources of heat, solar radiation and drafts. In addition, the room where the incubation will take place should not have low air humidity, as well as it is not recommended that it be too cooled.
After turning on the device, the engine starts, and after about 20 seconds the LED lights up. However, only after 16-24 hours after the start of the incubator, eggs can be placed in it.
