Incubator hatchery for eggs iKar with semi-automatic tray

The universal incubator iKar is perfect for home and hobby growers. It gives the opportunity to incubate eggs from various species of birds, including: chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, quails, pheasants, guinea fowls. Its dimensions are small, so it does not take up much space, the operation is also very simple. The iKar hatchery has a semi-automatic tray that holds 56 chicken or smaller eggs, e.g. pheasants. The principle of operation of the presented tray is to turn the key to the right or left, located outside the case, thanks to which the eggs rotate, without having to open the top cover and perform this action manually, thereby preventing a possible drop in temperature, which is a very important factor, knocking down the achievement of high incubation efficiency. Eggs should be rotated at least twice a day to prevent the embryo from sticking to the membrane. After removing the semi-automatic tray, as many as 80 chicken eggs can be placed directly on the grid.

In the top cover of the incubator a fan and a heater have been placed. The heater is a heating element with a power of 100 W, which is controlled by an electronic thermostat. Thanks to this, the average current consumption is only 40 W. On the other hand, a fan that mixes the air and ensures its even distribution, maintaining the same temperature in each part of the nesting chamber. The temperature is pre-programmed and amounts to 37.8^oC. Its control is controlled by an electronic system with sensors, which keeps it at a constant level. It is also possible to control the temperature in the range of 35 - 43^oC, thanks to the proprietary application that can be downloaded to a mobile phone from the Google Play store (requirements: Smartphone with Irda port, Android system) LINK. Transparent cover allows you to observe the incubation process. An important advantage of the product is the LCD display, also placed on the lid, indicating the temperature.
Humidity control in the incubator is manual, more precisely, the tubules located in the bottom bowl of the incubator. Humidity control consists in adding water to the channels.
