Wall curtains are a solution particularly suitable for duck and goose farms, as well as pig and cattle farms, helping to optimise animal housing costs. The use of curtains in poultry houses allows sections of the side walls to be opened, enabling fresh air to circulate throughout the building.

Ventilation curtains for poultry houses and livestock buildings can be opened automatically using a servomotor or manually using a hand winch. Wall curtains for poultry farms are available in two versions depending on the opening system:

1. ROLL-UP CURTAINS
  • The curtain is mounted to the upper part of the structure
  • The curtain opens by rolling onto a tube
  • The rolled curtain moves upwards
  • The tarpaulin remains rigid and evenly tensioned along the entire length of the curtain
  • Greater resistance to adverse weather conditions
2. DROP-DOWN CURTAINS
  • Suspended and adjusted using a pulley system
  • Opens from top to bottom
  • When lowered, the tarpaulin hangs at the bottom
  • The entire length of the curtain can be operated from a single point using a manual or electric winch
  • The ends of the curtains are protected with sheet metal covers

Each curtain can additionally be fitted with a protective bird net to prevent wild birds from coming into contact with animals inside the livestock building. The nets are manufactured from extremely durable polyethylene with a small mesh size of 15 or 25 mm.
