The task of the valve is to regulate the water level in the gutter drinker. If there is too much of it, the valve is responsible for cutting off the water supply, and when the water falls below the desired level, the valve unlocks the supply again. The valve works on the principle of gravity. The spare gravity valve has its own adjustment, thanks to which the breeder can regulate the water level in the drinker.
