Thanks to this, the lawn becomes self-sufficient, there is no need for additional fertilization. This means that the lawn is constantly supplied with nitrogen and other micronutrients, necessary for the proper growth of the grass and its nice appearance.

Vegano Target grass seeds will allow you to create a beautiful, dark green lawn, characterized by fast growth and adequate grass compaction. The nitrogen obtained thanks to microclover ensures proper growth of the grass and is responsible for its color. Phosphorus and potassium are also absorbed from the environment, which is why the lawn is self-sufficient and naturally fertilized.

How do you care for a self-fertilizing lawn with microclover?

As the name suggests, the lawn obtains fertilizer in the form of nitrogen on its own, so its care is limited to regular mowing.

• The first year after sowing - it is very important that the lawn takes root well. To do this, you need to take care of proper hydration, you can support the soil with another fertilizer, but in the middle of the dose, to speed up the rooting process. During this period, the roots produce nodules needed for the symbiosis of microorganisms in the soil. The lawn is usually mowed every 2 weeks up to a height of about 5 cm.
• In the second year, regular mowing every 7-10 days to a height of 2.5 cm is enough to reduce the visibility of microclover.

Sowing:

A 1 kg pack of Vegano grass seeds is enough to start a new lawn of about 50 m ². For the purpose of regeneration or overseeding of grass, the package is sufficient for about 200 m ².
