Acidic horticultural peat improves the structure of the substrate. It fertilizes the soil, collects water and nutrients well, which improves the development of plants.
Acidic peat is rich in carbon compounds and is a good addition to compost. Horticultural peat provides better access of air to the deep layers of compost, which contributes to the optimization of humus formation processes.
Acid peat is used as an additive to the substrate when planting blueberries, thujas, rhododendrons, heathers, conifers. The pH of peat is 3.5-4.5.
