The active substance has delayed anticoagulant action, so rats do not immediately associate the bait with its later effects. This helps reduce bait avoidance among the remaining rodents.

The set also includes TOXAN ready-to-use liquid rat bait. Its liquid formulation may be particularly attractive in dry locations or areas where rodents have limited access to drinking water. Providing both paste and liquid bait allows the rodent control programme to be adapted to local conditions and rat feeding behaviour.

How to Apply the Rat Baits

Place 3–5 X-RAT PRO paste sachets inside a suitable lockable bait station. Do not remove the paste from the sachets unless the authorised product label instructs otherwise. Rats can open the sachets and consume the bait inside.

Pour approximately 100 ml of TOXAN liquid bait into a suitable internal bait container and place it inside the second lockable station. The liquid is ready to use and should not be diluted.

Position both stations along walls, near burrows and on established rat routes. Inspect them regularly and replenish the bait according to consumption and the authorised instructions for each product.
