Nipple drinker with 1/2 inch ball valve

Nipple drinker with ball valve mounted on 1/2 inch thread. Drinker made entirely of stainless steel. In the rear part of the inlet protected by a strainer against the ingress of contaminants. The drinker has a 3-step regulation of water flow, so you can easily adjust its performance to watered animals.

The principle of operation of a nipple drinker with a ball is similar to an oblique nipple drinker. In a ball drinker, however, the valve stem is hidden inside the drinker and it is moved by a ball protruding from one side of the drinker mouthpiece. Thanks to this solution, the animal, in order to move the drinker stem, must grab the entire drinker in the jaw. This eliminates the risk of water spillage, and especially prevents animals from playing with water, which often led to large water losses.

Drinkers are mounted horizontally or inclined at an angle of 45^o directly to the water pipe (1/2 inch thread). The drinker is dedicated to fattening pigs or piglets weighing more than 20kg. Ball drinkers are also used for watering calves and lambs.
