Hygrometer for measuring humidity for incubators

A universal device for measuring the level of humidity inside a nesting or hatching chamber. Very accurate - with the possibility of error no more than ±3% RH.Factory calibrated to operate at 37.7^oC (100^oF) - the optimum incubation temperature.

The correct operation of the instrument is based on a measurement method called wet thermometer. It involves pouring water into the glass bubble of the hygrometer - preferably distilled and placing it in the incubator chamber. From now on, the hygrometer will measure the relative humidity of the air on the basis of temperature difference.
Muslin yarn soaked with water will moisten the container with alcohol (affects the temperature of this alcohol). This process determines the indication, on the aluminum plate with graduation, of the level of air humidity.

This method, although developed in the nineteenth century, is still considered one of the most accurate.
