Welded wire mesh is easy to process and install and can be combined with various materials such as wood, plastic or metal profiles. Unlike woven wire mesh and hexagonal wire mesh, welded mesh is characterised by very high rigidity, is much faster to install and, most importantly, does not require tensioning. This type of mesh is indispensable in animal breeding and husbandry. It is very often used for building poultry cages, as well as various types of traps for martens and otters, or traps for mice and rats. In addition, welded wire mesh is widely used in agriculture, construction and industry. Typical applications include:
- building fences, animal enclosures and gates,
- dividing spaces and constructing passages or railings,
- reinforcing structures in construction,
- protecting trees, shrubs and crops,
- constructing filters, screens and sieves,
- building protective guards for windows, machinery and various other components.
The following products are ideal as mesh for building bird aviaries. They can also be used to construct mesh floors in animal cages. Their high strength and durability make them an excellent choice for protecting poultry and ornamental birds against predators such as martens, polecats and weasels. These predators are unable to easily bite through cages made from strong welded wire mesh, which can sometimes be a problem with plastic netting.
Each of our welded wire meshes is machine-welded at very high temperatures, without the use of solder containing potentially harmful lead or cadmium additives. The finished fencing mesh is then coated with a protective or PVC coating. This makes the mesh resistant to weather conditions and corrosion, while allowing it to maintain an attractive appearance even after many years of use.
