On 20–22 February 2026, Łódź hosted the FERMA International Trade Fair for Cattle, Pig and Poultry Farmers – one of the most important livestock industry events in Poland. Around 200 exhibitors took part, including Fermo – a renowned supplier of poultry farm equipment and owner of specialist online stores dedicated to livestock farmers.

FERMA 2026 – a specialist trade fair for livestock production

Events such as the FERMA 2026 International Cattle, Pig and Poultry Trade Fair are much more than an opportunity for exhibitors, including Fermo, to present their products and services. Over the course of three days, they provide an opportunity to hold dozens of valuable conversations with farmers who are genuinely interested in developing and modernising their farms. This is why we place such strong emphasis on professional presentation, the expertise of our advisers and the overall quality of our exhibition stand.

For livestock farmers, attending events such as the FERMA International Cattle, Pig and Poultry Trade Fair offers much more than simply walking between exhibition stands. Above all, it provides tangible business, technological and educational benefits. The trade fair gives visitors access to the latest technologies, equipment, automation systems and feeding solutions. Farmers can compare different technologies and solutions in one place, request quotations and see equipment in operation or up close.

One of the greatest advantages of attending the trade fair is the opportunity to speak directly with specialists in livestock building equipment and establish long-term business relationships. New technologies presented by exhibitors often inspire changes and allow farmers to look at their operations from a different perspective.

During FERMA 2026 in Łódź, exhibitors and farmers were able to hold numerous meetings in one location over the three exhibition days instead of arranging many separate appointments. This is one of the reasons why events of this kind attract so many visitors. FERMA 2026 can be seen as an investment in knowledge, business relationships and farm development. For farmers planning to build a new poultry house, modernise an existing farm or optimise production costs, the event provides a highly effective source of information and inspiration.

Innovations that help reduce production costs

The Fermo stand attracted considerable interest from visitors looking for solutions for poultry farming, including laying hens, broilers, ducks, geese and turkeys. One of the highlights of the exhibition was a new model of grain doser designed to improve the efficiency of feed preparation. The unit enables precise dosing of raw materials, helps reduce losses and optimises working time.

With poultry production costs continuing to be a major concern for farmers, solutions that can generate measurable savings are particularly important. Fermo's new grain dosing systems attracted considerable interest, particularly among representatives of large commercial poultry farms.

Many visitors were also interested in vehicle disinfection gates, which are an important element of biosecurity on poultry, pig and cattle farms. With the ongoing threat of diseases such as avian influenza, Newcastle disease, African swine fever (ASF) and foot-and-mouth disease (FMD), disinfection gates can help protect farms against the introduction and spread of pathogens.

High build quality, reliable components and comprehensive 360o vehicle disinfection are among the features that distinguish Fermo vehicle disinfection gates and make them a popular solution in the livestock sector.

Poultry farm equipment – professional advice and complete installations

The trade fair was also an excellent opportunity to speak directly with Fermo advisers. Over the three days, our specialists answered numerous questions concerning complete livestock building equipment – from drinking and feeding systems to ventilation, heating, pad cooling, poultry house climate control systems and solutions designed to improve biosecurity and bird welfare.

Many customers also requested cost estimates for investments involving the construction of new livestock buildings, as well as the renovation, modernisation or additional equipment of existing facilities. An individual approach to every customer and a detailed analysis of each farm's requirements are important elements that strengthen Fermo's position as a reliable business partner.

Natural feed additives – solutions for modern livestock farming

The trade fair also provided an opportunity to present a wide range of natural feed additives designed to support the health and proper development of poultry and other farm animals. Products available from the fermo.pl online store are used both in backyard poultry keeping and on large commercial farms, where increasing emphasis is being placed on quality, safety and reducing the use of antibiotics.

Visitors to the Fermo stand were able to discover products supporting natural immunity, including dried nettle, dried alfalfa and brewer's yeast; products designed to improve feed utilisation, such as Agreset; and products supporting the balance of intestinal microflora, including Bactofarm Max and Carbofarm charcoal.

Crushed sea shells for laying hens provide a natural source of calcium, phosphorus and sodium. Their use can support laying performance and help improve eggshell strength.

The control of poultry red mite is another important issue for poultry farmers. Visitors to the trade fair had the opportunity to learn more about Drink Ex-Mite, a product designed to help control poultry red mite. The product is administered in drinking water and works from within the bird. Its mode of action is intended to disrupt the physiological behaviour of poultry parasites, interfere with their digestive processes, reduce feeding on birds and contribute to their gradual elimination.

The growing awareness among farmers regarding animal nutrition and preventive health management clearly demonstrates the direction in which modern poultry production is developing. Fermo responds to these needs by introducing a wide range of natural feed additives with no withdrawal period for eggs or meat, designed with the safety of both animals and consumers in mind.
