Opening of a new facility for fattening broiler

On March 10, 2018, in the family farm of Mr. Łukasz Kostrzewa from Strzebieszewo (Łódź Province), the official opening of the newly created production hall for fattening broiler took place. The production hall houses nearly 65,000 birds and is another one on the farm in Strzebieszewo. Comprehensive equipment of the facility, along with the ceiling soffit, was made by fermo from Piotrów.

Continuous development

For years, the investor has been running a very efficient poultry farm, which can compete with the most modern farms in Europe. All this is due to the excellent process of running the farm by Mr. Łukasz, who focuses on continuous development and introduces innovations that improve the entire production process.

The official opening was attended by over 150 guests who had the opportunity to get acquainted with modern solutions used on Mr. Kostrzewa's farm. The meeting began with a presentation by the head of the FERMO investment department, Dominik Plota. He presented to the visitors all the systems in which the newly created object is equipped and gave a lecture entitled; "The latest FERMO F-PRO production computers - real support in the production process". Then there was a speech by the director of FERMO, Karol Owczarek, who thanked the investor for the trust entrusted and fruitful cooperation. Thanks were also given to the FERMO employees present at the event, thanks to whom this wonderful facility was created. After the speech of the director of FERMO, the investor himself, Mr. Łukasz Kostrzewa, took the floor. In his speech, he thanked his relatives for their support, emphasizing the role of his father Mr. Kazimierz Kostrzewa, who passed on his vast knowledge in the field of running poultry farms and initiated the operation of the family farm in Strzebieszewo. The investor also thanked the representatives of FERMO for trouble-free cooperation, punctuality and the highest quality of services. After the speeches, there was a symbolic ribbon cutting and dedication of the object by a priest from the local parish.

Full automation process

The investor chose the FERMO offer because the main assumption was to improve production and automate the management process. Control of all installed systems is carried out using - winner of the gold medal at FERMA 2018. The production computer together with the FTA2 alarm control panel and the installed camera system inside the facility, provides the user with constant control over what is happening in the facility at any time of the day or night, from anywhere in the world.

Cleanliness and hygiene

An important aspect in every FERMO implementation is the ease of maintaining cleanliness in the commissioned facilities and energy efficiency. Ensuring proper occupational hygiene results in a safer production process, in which we minimize the risk of pathogenic outbreaks. That is why in the facility of Mr. Kostrzewa we have installed our original CEILING SOFFIT SYSTEM TERMO+, which provides excellent thermal insulation parameters, and is very easy to maintain cleanliness.

Feeding and watering system

All and watering are suspended from the CEILING OF TERMO+. Each line is automatically controlled by , which allow you to precisely set each line, so that we can set the height of the line to the current poultry growth. ,, in which the facility is equipped, provide 6-step adjustment of the feed feed, and their simple design ensures ease of use and trouble-free cleaning. Ventilation

In the building of Mr. Kostrzewa, an effective chimney and tunnel ventilation system was used. Thanks to the closed combustion chamber, the heaters are highly energy-efficient, which translates into a reduction in the cost of daily operation.

Lighting
