Virkon H2O in a 10 kg package is a professional preparation with bactericidal action, used for disinfection drinking water for animals and removal of biofilm in animal watering systems. Its use allows to maintain animal welfare and maintain high production efficiency. It prevents the multiplication of bacteria, fungi and algae, which pose a serious threat to animal health.

How does Virkon H2O work for disinfecting watering systems?

The preparation is in the form of a powder that dissolves well in water of various temperatures, even in cold water. The rate of dilution depends on the water temperature and its pH recorded at the watering point. By dissolving the preparation in water at a temperature of 15^oC, we will achieve bactericidal capacity after 60 minutes. At lower temperatures, the dissolution time of Virkon H2O may be extended. The recommended water pH is between 5 - 6.5. Bactericidal effectiveness in the case of water lines can be achieved with a dilution ranging from 1.25 g/liter of water (1:800) to 0.67 g/liter of water (1:1500). Complete biofilm removal should be diluted 10 g of the preparation/ 1 liter of water, leaving in the drinking water system for 4 hours.

How to use Virkon H2O

• The preparation is in the form of a powder that dissolves in water and then is released into the animal's watering system. The preparation will achieve bactericidal capacity after 60 minutes from dissolving the powder in water,
• It has antibacterial activity in the range of 1.25 g/liter (1:800) to 0.67 g/liter (1:1500),
• The degree of dilution should be selected depending on the registered pH of the water, so that its target range is between 5.0 and 6.5.
• Biofilm removal - dilute 10 g of the preparation / 1 liter of water, leaving in the drinking water system for 4 hours.
