Grain metering unit for silo with manual ration control. The use of a grain feeder allows you to mix concentrated feed with whole grains, e.g. wheat. This is a financially beneficial solution for the breeder, which allows for a significant reduction in the main expense of breeding, which is the cost of animal feeding.

The

manual grain metering unit is mounted between two silos. In one of the silos, concentrate fodder should be placed, in the other wheat or other grain. The feed conveyor first takes the dosed grain and then the feed from the second hopper. The grain feed range can be set from 5 to 60%. The amount of dosed cereals is managed manually by means of a knob that regulates the speed of the transmission. This is a cheaper solution than an electronic grain metering machine because it is not equipped with an inverter and other electrical components.
