Stainless steel control unit fi 90 mm with flap and opening sensor

The presented control unit with flap sensor and safety sensor is designed for a 90 mm pipe for the feeder in feeding systems. It is mounted mainly at the end of the transverse line for feeding pigs and poultry: laying hens, ducks, broilers or turkeys.

The offered stainless steel end unit is designed to control the operation of the feed train, and especially the drive motor to which it is attached. It owes everything to having two special sensors that distinguish it from other units. The principle of their operation is as follows:

• if, for an unexplained reason, the proximity sensor (located in the chute hopper, outside the unit) stops working, the electricity supply in the engine will cut off the flop sensor. This mechanism is mounted inside the proposed control unit for pipe fi 90 mm,
• in addition, this device uses a safety sensor, which was mounted on the outside of the unit housing, and more precisely under its lid. This module turns off the electrical circuit when the top flap of the end unit that has been pushed out by the feed opens, provided, of course, that both of the previous sensors do not work. This solution makes the entire feeding system reliable.

The proposed stainless steel control unit for a two-sensor feeder is mounted at the end of the transverse line together with the motor. This element connects at the bottom to the telescopic chute pipe from the feed hopper, which is the beginning of the longitudinal line. On the other hand, it connects to a PVC pipe with a diameter of 90 mm, in which, under the influence of the drive motor, the spirala transporting feed rotates.
