What's more, the water harness for pigs and poultry has a bacteriostatic effect, which is why it is often used by breeders during the treatment of diarrheal diseases, as well as recommended in case of infection with salmonella viruses. The acidifying preparation Salmacid is dosed to animals in drinking water in the proportion of 0.5 l - 1 l per 1000 liters of water. Depending on the animals being bred, Salmacid is given as follows:
