The acidifying preparation Salmacid is dosed to animals in drinking water in the proportion of 0.5 l - 1 l per 1000 liters of water. Depending on the animals being bred, Salmacid is given as follows:

- in the case of poultry: every other day or continuously throughout the fattening period
