Load cell for feed hopper in feeding line

€86.31

A professional load cell necessary when constructing an automatic poultry feeding system: layers, broilers, ducks, turkeys, etc. The load cell is mounted to the hopper in the longitudinal line (hooper over which there is a drive module with a sensor - diagram in photo 4). The load cell for the hopper is equipped with a connection cable with a the feeder motor of the transverse line.

The principle of operation of the sensor for feeding systems is to send information to the drive motor of the transverse line at the moment when the weight of the feed in the hopper is exceeded. Thanks to the weight holder, the hopper is lowered or raised as the feed decreases/arrives. When there is enough feed in the hooper, a special button located at the bottom of the load cell will be activated, blocking the further embankment of grains. Such a combination ensures that the feed will stop coming from the stop pipe. In this way, the problem of pouring and thus wasting feed will be eliminated. The offered weighing system is the most effective and economical solution in automatic poultry feeding lines.

The load cell for the hopper is placed at the bottom of the weigh holder and firmly screwed with the two screws included in the kit. In order to set the height of the feed backfill, a regulating ring with a butterfly screw should be placed at a convenient level. In this way, the hopper, under the influence of the heaviness of the buried food, will lower and press the sensor button at a given height. The connection cable under the module is pulled through the hole in the holder. In order to protect the cable from abrasion, the hole is located in the rubber casing.

The set consists of:
  • weight holder (1)
  • load cell with two connection screws (2)
  • hopper height regulator with butterfly nut (3)
