The optimal pH for most plants ranges from 5.0-7.0. Blueberries, conifers and rhododendrons need acidic soil.
The strips are very easy to use: place the soil sample in a clean container and mix it with 10ml of distilled water. When the earth sinks to the bottom of the vessel, immerse the indicator strip in the water for 1 second so that the entire indicator part is in the water. The result appears after approx. 30 s, which should be compared with the scale.
