Professional breeding cage for partridges. The segment for obtaining eggs for partridges consists of eight sites for eight pairs of birds, because as you know, partridges are monogamous animals. The cage has a watering system watering system with a hopper, feeders and a semi-automatic manure drainage system.
The cage was made of high quality materials. Both the gratings and all joints, feeders and other elements are made of metal subjected to the galvanizing process, as a result of which they are very durable and resistant to corrosion.
One box for a pair of partridges is approx. 25 cm2. Two boxes form a segment measuring 100 cm x 55 cm x 29 cm. Eight boxes form 4-level segments. (Note: in the picture you can see a double segment containing 16 boxes out of 16 pairs - 8 segments). The cages are designed to make it as easy as possible for the breeder to collect eggs. The bottoms of the cage are inclined at a slight angle, as a result of which the eggs automatically cringe to the outer edge of the cage.
The segment cage for partridges is practically ready to start breeding. Each of the stations has a hopper feeder and a bowl drinker connected to the watering system. Water is directly supplied from the water tank with float valve, which must be connected to the water network. Also added to the set is A square PVC pipe with a length of 2 meters, from which water hoses come out.
A very comfortable solution is the use of a semi-automatic system for draining the spawn, which, falling through the latticed grate of the cage, lands on special, wound PolyPolytapes (photos 4 and 5), mounted directly under each of the segments. The breeder using a crank rolls up the Polytape, while cleaning it from bird droppings. Re-tensioning the belt is only associated with the rotation of the crank in the opposite direction.
