Poultry plucker Drum 3-phase

Very efficient plucker for mass feathering of poultry, with the possibility of plucking up to 10 pieces of poultry at the same time. It is used to nibble broilers, turkeys, chickens or guinea fowls as well as other farmed or wild poultry. It is dedicated to farms and small agricultural enterprises selling large quantities of poultry carcasses.
The plucking machine works wet, i.e. the slaughtered poultry must be previously scalded in hot water. Carcasses must be soaked for a maximum of 3 minutes in water at a temperature of about 55-60oC. Before starting work, poultry should be deprived of legs and head. We can use appropriate slaughter funnels for poultry. The machine plucks the feathers using a spinning disk located on the bottom of the drum. Placed inside, the carcasses rotate in a drum and rub against specially profiled rubber fingers, which successively pluck feathers from poultry. During the process, water will gradually be supplied to the drum of the machine, which supports the feathering process and flushes out the already torn feathers from the fingers. Water is supplied via a cable connected to the machine. Inside there is a system of tubes that pour water over the rotating inks under pressure. Thanks to the use of properly elastic rubber fingers, the skubark nibbles very gently, does not damage the skin or bruise the meat. After the process is completed, the carcasses should be immediately placed in cold water.
All internal elements of the poultry skubing machine, i.e. the drum and the spinning disc, are made of hardened aluminum, thanks to which they are very easy to keep clean, dirt does not adhere to the walls, and the material itself does not undergo the rusting process. On the other hand, the outer casing as well as the entire structure of the machine is made of noble stainless steel type 302 additionally enriched with nickel for better corrosion resistance. This universal plucker was equipped with a three-phase engine with a capacity of 1.1 KW (or 1.5HP). Up to 10 poultry with a total weight of up to 12Kg can be plucked at a time. The nibbling machine has CE quality and safety certificate.
