This Energizer was manufactured by the French company Chapron. It is a basic element of any electric fence. By combining it with wire, Polywire or Polytape, you can fence the grazing area for pigs, goats, sheep, as well as protect the crops from wild animals: foxes, deer, wild boars.
The 12000 Energizer is used to generate short and strong pulses with high voltage (up to 13500V) and energy up to 5000mJ. 1 pulse falls on 1 second, so the device will produce about 50-55 pulses per minute. The frequency of pulses (and thus the correctness of the energizer's operation) is indicated by a special indicator light located on the front of the housing. This simplifies the monitoring of the fencing's work and the quick detection of possible irregularities.
The Energizer is equipped with an additional terminal that halves the voltage (and energy) of the emitted pulses. This means that it can also be used for fences for young livestock, which are more sensitive to electrical impulses, including calves. It should be noted that the fencing is used to teach animals discipline, in no case does it cause them injuries.
The device consumes very little power - only 12 W. The maximum length of the fence with which the device is able to work reaches up to 200 km (the condition is the correct construction and insulation). At the moment when the power settings of the Energizer are reduced by half, the maximum length of the fence should not exceed 50 km.
The fencing has the ability to mount on the wall, thanks to special handles. In addition, a metal bard is included in the set. The device should be placed outside the livestock building, preferably under a roof ( to protect against rain). It is also recommended to turn off the Energizer when we do not use it (e.g. at night) and during a storm.
