Heating plate for piglets 60 W, corner 68 x 66 x 68 cm

Very useful and effective heating plate for piglets. It is especially recommended in pig houses with floor grates and pig farms with a litterless rearing system where animals have contact only with a cold floor. Heating mat is also necessary in the period of very severe frosts, when there is a decrease in temperature in pigsty and there is a risk of cooling down of weaners or piglets.

The surface of the heating mat for piglets is made of steel plate, which gives off heat very well. Inside, special heaters with a total power of 60Watt have been placed. The cables are located in a special fiberglass coating (GRP plastic), which on the one hand protects against moisture ingress into electrical devices but at the same time guarantees high efficiency distribution of heat evenly over the entire surface of the bed plate for weaners.

Thanks to this, the use of the device is completely safe and piglets have equal access to heat from the heating plate.The whole from the bottom is built with a special insulating layer with a thickness of 6mm, which limits the amount of heat escaping. This allows you to reduce energy consumption by up to 50%.

The surface of the heating plate for pigs has the shape of a triangle with dimensions of 68x66x68cm. It is able to accommodate piglets from one litter, i.e. a maximum of about 14-16 pcs.The board is powered by electricity from the 230V network. The kit comes with a power cord in a flexible stainless steel pipe so that the pigs are not able to damage or gnaw through the wires.
