Drinker valve needle (TAV14)

The needle is responsible for opening and closing the flow of water through the valve. The end of the stem, which protrudes from the the TAV17 enclosure, is pressed by the drinker jug when the water from the gutter runs out. The flow of water remains open until the jug is lowered again. This causes the needle to close the gap that the water flowed again. The cycle will be repeated with each loss of water in the drinker jug.
