Fair EXPOHunting Sosnowiec 2015
Just like last year, Fermo took part in the Expo Hunting Exhibition in Sosnowiec. Beautiful weather and sunny Weekend, the first truly spring in 2015 did not scare off visitors. It is known that good weather is not an ally of the organizers and exhibitors. Despite this, an exceptionally large number of visitors, instead of spending time outdoors, came to the Expo Silesia hall to visit the exhibition.
At the fair, we presented new solutions and ways to build effective electric fences against wild animals. Hunting damage is currently an extremely sensitive and popular topic, both among hunters and farmers, who are particularly affected by the damage caused by wild boars. Of great interest was the new generation electrician - unordinably strong shepherd Buffalo F15 from Chapron. Everyone with their own eyes could see this modern device and get to know its capabilities. Our stand has been visited by many of our customers who already use Buffalo shepherds. What makes us very happy in 100% are satisfied with the purchase and plan further purchases of this device on the occasion of the next large installations.
In addition to promoting our solutions and products, meetings with our customers are extremely valuable and encouraging. Numerous conversations, suggestions and discussions will help us improve the solutions of fences protecting crops and even better match the offer to the needs of the market. It is extremely encouraging for us that hunting clubs that established cooperation with us a few years ago, recorded a large decrease in costs related to hunting damage and confirmed the profitability of using well-thought-out electric shepherds, made in accordance with our recommendations.
A very good example is Mr. Kazimierz from the Lubuskie Province, a farmer and at the same time a hunter. Understanding the difficult financial situation of his hunting club, he himself invested in electric belt to protect corn from wild boars. For two seasons, he did not record any hunting losses, even though the wild boar population in his circuit increased by 40% during this time. At the same time, he confirmed that only a well-made electric fence guarantees effective protection of corn cultivation against wild boars. It is worth mentioning that Mr. Kazimierz manages on 1200 hectares, more than half of which is corn cultivation.
