Special drinker with ballast designed for chicks and smaller breeds of birds. The product is equipped with an automatic valve powered by stow with a diameter of 7 mm.
The pressure in the device should not exceed 1.5bar, because the hopper is adapted to work in a gravity system. This means that a special valve automatically siphons water into the tank when it is empty. Then the liquid accumulates in the container flowing down special gutters (grooves) located on the sides of the calyx. When the drinker is properly filled, the valve automatically tightens, causing the water to continue not coming in.
The drinker has a built-in handle, thanks to which you can hang it on a special rope (it is not included in the set, but it can be purchased, because it is available in the store's offer) or on a chain.
The whole is stable through the ballast placed inside the cup (the ballast is filled with water, loading the device).
For greater safety, a special grille can be additionally put on the tank from which the birds drink. It means that young chickens will not be able to enter the trough, as a result of which water will not be spilled by animals - which is especially important when drugs or vitamins are given in it. The grille, if desired, can be freely removed or put on.
