The appacidity for piglets Baracid P has a low pH, thanks to which it stabilizes the microflora of the gastrointestinal tract and contributes to a significant reduction of pathogenic bacteria in the body, thus reducing the occurrence of diarrhea in animals. An additional advantage of using the Baracid P acidifying preparation for sows and fattening pigs is the improvement of the taste of the feed, which results in its greater uptake by animals. To a large extent, the water acidifier for poultry consists of acids (85%) that have a beneficial effect on the digestive tract of animals:
- phosphoric acid, lowers pH and is a source of easily digestible phosphorus
- citric acid, changes the composition of the microflora in the small intestine, which in effect lowers the pH in the cecum and colon
- lactic acid, is a powerful prebiotic and counteracts bacteria, as well as improves taste and smell
- formic acid, inhibits the multiplication of E.coli, Sallmonelli or yeast bacteria
- tartaric acid, improves taste qualities
